Both the 6km and 12km courses will see you running alongside the Wollongong Foreshore while you take in the stunning coastal surrounds. This year we have DJ’s, Drummers, Choirs, a Brass Band, a Pipes Band and many more live performances ready to entertain you throughout every km of the course, we want to make sure the festival fun follows you every step of the way!
For our littlest runners, the course for our Cotton On Kids 1km run is along a shorter section of the Foreshore course, lapping the Win Stadium, with a big finish in our festival village. The course is guaranteed to be lots of fun with music, bubbles, characters and mist machines. Each child will receive a cute medal to reward their efforts.

These guidelines are here to make sure everyone stays safe and is able to enjoy Run Wollongong:
Volunteers will look after water stations with plastic water cups for you to pick up and drink whilst on the move. Please throw your empty cups into the cardboard boxes located on the side of the course.
A professional medical service company will be providing medical assistance and first aid services during Run Wollongong. They will have remote first aid stations at each of the water points as well as at the finish line (north side of oval just near the finish arch). Please don’t hesitate to approach them if you need assistance or see anyone else needing help.
